Ceylon Motor Show 2025 concludes with largest automative display in Sri Lanka

The much-anticipated Ceylon Motor Show 2025 made a spectacular return to Colombo after a six-year hiatus, reaffirming its place as Sri Lanka’s largest and most prestigious automotive exhibition. Held from the 24th to the 26th of October 2025 at the BMICH, the event drew a large and enthusiastic audience, marking a resounding success for organisers, exhibitors, and motor enthusiasts alike.

The show was the first event to be hosted within the walls of the newly constructed Western Car Park Halls. The event was organised by the Ceylon Motor Traders Association (CMTA) in partnership with the Classic Car Club of Ceylon (CCCC) and powered by LOLC Holdings PLC as Title Partner.

The three-day showcase brought together a remarkable cross-section of industry leaders, global automotive brands, and passionate enthusiasts, featuring the largest vehicle display in Sri Lanka to date. From sleek sedans and rugged SUVs to high-performance motorcycles, trucks, and an extensive range of accessories, the exhibition represented over 30 internationally renowned brands through their authorised local franchise holders.

One of the standout features of the 2025 edition was the strong emphasis on next-generation mobility, with visitors treated to a firsthand look at the latest electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as futuristic automotive innovations that reflect the direction of the global industry. Interactive experiences and technology showcases added a dynamic, engaging layer to the exhibition, creating an immersive environment for all ages.

Adding a touch of timeless elegance, the Classic Car Club of Ceylon presented the largest-ever collection of classic and vintage automobiles in the country, featuring over 150 iconic vehicles. This extraordinary segment was a true highlight of the event, captivating visitors with the stories, craftsmanship, and heritage behind each model, while giving enthusiasts a rare opportunity to meet collectors and restoration experts.

The success of the event was further amplified by the support of media partners, including the Capital Maharaja Group as the Official Radio and TV Partner, Wijeya Newspapers as the Official Print Media Partner, and Emerging Media as the Official Outdoor Digital Signage Partner.
