The Delmege delegation, led by Ms. Dinusha Bhaskaran, Managing Director of Vallibel One (parent company of Delmege Group), together with senior officials and staff, were warmly welcomed by the Principal, teachers, and the college cadet team. The colourful ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the National and School flags, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
The programme featured the singing of the school song, heartfelt messages of gratitude from the Principal and teachers, as well as captivating performances by teachers, who chose to share their talents with the students as a gesture of appreciation. A popular comedy artist also added joy and laughter to the occasion, making it a truly memorable day for the children.
As part of the celebrations, Delmege distributed essential educational materials, sports equipment, and refreshments to the students. In addition, the Alcon Surgical Division of Delmege Healthcare, in collaboration with Vision Care, organized a special eye clinic, further enhancing the value of the initiative. This meaningful effort reflected Delmege’s deep-rooted commitment to education, community well-being, and the holistic development of children—offering not only practical support, but also creating lasting memories for the students of Veluwana College.
