New facility aims to strengthen cybersecurity skills and empower IT professionals across Sri Lanka
Sophos, a global leader in innovative security solutions for defeating cyberattacks, announced the launch of its new Authorized Training Center (ATC) in partnership with Sinetcom (Pvt) Ltd., a leading cybersecurity solutions provider in Sri Lanka. The new training facility, located in Colombo, marks Sophos’ continued investment in building local cybersecurity capacity and supporting its partners and customers with hands-on learning opportunities.
The Sophos ATC program is a global initiative that enables select partners, distributors, and accredited organizations to deliver official Sophos training and certification courses. The program helps IT professionals gain advanced skills, enhance partner capabilities, and ensure organizations can confidently deploy and manage Sophos’ cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies.

Through this initiative, Sinetcom will offer Sophos-certified training programs covering key Sophos technologies, including firewall, endpoint, and cloud security solutions. The programs are designed for IT professionals at all levels – from security administrators to solution architects – helping organizations strengthen their defenses and stay ahead of emerging cyber risks.
