The Ministry of Energy has planned to introduce an online platform to share information on the availability of fuel stocks and distribution schedules at fuel stations island wide.
This online platform is being created by the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA).
This new platform will be launched within the next 10 days. Once launched, this platform will help minimize the long queues at fuel stations as people can be notified via the platform.
